Jacqueline Arey Weldco-Beales ManufacturingHow long have you worked within the NorTerra Group of Companies? I have worked with Weldco-Beales Manufacturing for three years.

What did you do previously? I started as a Computer Base Training Developer, developing training modules for HR and Safety.

What attracted you to the job? I enjoy working with and for the people of the north.

What do you like about your job? I like to help various departments here at Weldco-Beales Mfg. It really gets me in tune with the whole company. I also enjoy interacting with customers, vendors and employees.

What do you like about working with the NorTerra Group of Companies? With NorTerra and Group of Companies, you are treated as an equal, as a person not a number. I also believe that we have the best chance for advancement a company has to offer.

Have you enjoyed any benefits while working with NorTerra? While employed at WBM, I have had the opportunity to chaperone and show Inuit and Inuvialuit students what WBM has to offer for careers and taken them to the University and College Institutions during their NorTerra Education and Career Awareness week. I also had the privilege to represent Weldco-Beales Mfg. in my travels with Jordin Tootoo and employees from the NorTerra Group of Companies to the communities of the North and South Baffin regions. There is no better way to experience the land of the Inuit other than promoting education.
